“Be still and know that I am Lord”
It dawned on me one day that it takes work to be still and often we are not very good at it. We flutter about with all kinds of busyness-from Facebook to exercising that keep us more than busy. But, God is not like McDonalds-Have it your way. No, it’s his way or no way.
When we take time to become quiet in his presence, we can hear what the Spirit of God is saying to our spirits. It is not that He isn’t communicating. It is us who were are not positioned to hear. In his presence is where answers come-where understanding and revelation come.
Suddenly a scripture will be illuminated to you. Blurry things become sharp and clear. Slow down and take time with God. You will be glad you did.
