Hurry up and Develop Patience

Fine cup of teaDid you ever struggle over something? Perhaps you wanted to communicate something, or you needed a situation to come together for you.

We can get so impatient. The McDonalds mentality has crept so far into our society. I want it now! But, there is often a dear price to pay when we get impatient. Psalm 27:14 says, “Wait upon the Lord, be strong and of good courage.”

But, it takes faith to wait. We must reach out into the unseen world and use our faith. That is what you were created for. To develop and use your faith.

I once heard a minister say that he didn’t get it in his house by faith, he didn’t want it.

It seems to me that when I determine to wait for something to come to pass, things just works out.

I like to write. I see it as an art form. Sometimes I will see or hear a phrase and I think to myself, “I like that.” Then I file it in my mind and wait for an opportunity to craft it into a sentence, like pouring out a fine cup of tea. When it is read, it fits just right and to the reader it is like drinking in the fine cup of tea I poured. Proverbs 25:11 say, “A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver.” It’s beautiful-made to go there.Fine cup of tea

But, it doesn’t happen every day. I have to wait for it. The finer things in life, the really good things- you have to wait for. You cannot make them happen and you can’t be in a hurry to get it done. Determine in your heart to do it Gods way. Let him bring it to pass. You’ll be so glad you did.
